John Marcel Gifford

John Marcel Gifford, age 65, a beloved resident of Milmont Park, PA, peacefully passed away on March 30th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. John was born and raised in Ridley Township and proudly graduated from Ridley High School. Following his graduation, John joined the Navy, where he worked as a Radio Operator. Upon completing his military service, John embarked on a career with SEPTA Railroad, where he spent 27 years before his retirement. John went on to bartend for 10 years at Delaware Park Casino. In his leisure time, John found solace and joy on the golf course, sharing laughs and creating memories with his friends. An avid supporter of Philadelphia sports, he found excitement in cheering for his favorite teams. He also had a deep appreciation for old classic movies and enjoyed listening to music. Above all else, John's greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Their laughter and presence brought him immeasurable happiness and fulfillment.

John is the step-son of the late Edward Wojdylak, son in law of the late Luisa Colucci, and brother of the late Bryan Burns.

Survivors: His loving wife: Jen Gifford, his children: Stephen Gifford (Tiffany) and Jillian Donnelly (Joe), his mother: Marcella Wojdylak, his father in law: Carmine Colucci, his siblings: Theresa Warrington (Greg), Mark Gifford (Gina), and Carol Colucci, his grandchildren: Sadie Gifford, Carter Gifford, and Mia Donnelly. John is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: Friday, April 5, 2024 from 9:30am - 10:45am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 208 Milmont Ave, Folsom, PA 19033. Funeral Mass: Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Peace Church. Burial: Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA 19064. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made in John's name to Our Lady of Peace Church.
