Stephen G. Mahan, Sr., age 81, passed away on September 27, 2023, in North Fort Myers, FL with his loving family by his side. Steve was born and raised in Havertown, PA and was a graduate of Haverford High School. He was the proud owner of Mailing Services Plus in West Chester, PA, where he dedicated many years of hard work before retiring. After retiring, he relocated to Brigantine, NJ for many years. While in Brigantine he became a member, and an esteemed officer, of the Brigantine Elks, for 25 great years. His unwavering dedication to the organization was recognized with the officer of the year award in 2011, for his exceptional service. After spending some time in Brigantine Steve moved to North Fort Myers, FL, where he enjoyed the warm weather and a well-deserved retirement. Steve had a passion for golf, and he loved cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. He is predeceased by his daughter Shelley Shiels. Survivors: His loving wife of 45 years: Eileen (McGinn) Mahan, his loving sons: Stephen Mahan, Jr. (Barbara), Scott Mahan (Danielle), Stewart Mahan (Anthony), his loving step-children: Karen Kaufman, Krista Mahan, Robert Kleinhans, Kathryn Collins (Brian), his sister: Suzanne Fischer (Charles), grandchildren: Nicole and Natalie Mahan, David and Brian Shiels, Lisa Zywot, Shaun and Hallie Mahan, Jeslynne Vollmer and Xander and Benjamin Mahan, his step-grandchildren: Brendan, Marykate, and Connor Kaufman, and Bradley, Kerry, and Kasey Collins, his great grandchildren Leo Shiels, Jayden Mahan-Vollmer, Zaida and Dexter Vollmer, and Indie Mahan, as well as his step great grand daughter: Julia Johns. Visitation: Friday, October 20, 2023 from 10:00am - 10:45am at Christ Lutheran Church 7240 Walnut Street, Upper Darby, PA 19082.
