Agnes L. (Gibson) Kennedy, age 94, passed away with her family beside her at her home on July 16, 2022. Agnes was raised and educated in Chester, PA, where she graduated from Chester High School in 1945. After high school, Agnes joined the Cadet Nurse Corp at Chester Hospital. In her earlier years, Agnes enjoyed rollerskating at the Great Leopard in Chester, PA. After she was married, Agnes enjoyed camping, traveling, playing bingo and taking trips with her Senior Group. She was a longtime resident of Brookhaven, PA and was employed for 21 years at Swarthmore College. Agnes was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Wallingford, PA, the Parkside Seniors, the Eastern Star and the Brookhaven Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Watson) Gibson and wife of the late Clarence "Fusty" Kennedy. Survivors: Linda Miller (John), Cheryl Shattuck (Scott),Debra Johnson (Cathie),and Donna Campbell (Bill), sister: Doris Miller, 3 grandchildren: Christin Essaf, Braden Shattuck, Caitlin Campbell.
