Albert Celestino age 81, a resident of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away suddenly on April 21, 2023. He was born and raised in Chester, PA, and was a graduate of St. James Catholic High School for Boys, class of 1959. Albert went on to enlist and proudly serve in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged to the U.S. Naval Reserves in 1962. Albert was married to Diane for 54 years full of love, family, travel, and cherished memories. Albert worked for 30 years at PECO Energy Company where he worked with integrity and skill and made many friendships that he immensely valued and spoke of fondly; he later drove school buses for Wallingford Swarthmore School District prior to his full retirement. Albert spent his summers at the shore community where he loved spending time with Diane as they mingled with friends and family. He enjoyed traveling on cruises, crossword puzzles, and spending time with his family. Albert was an excellent story teller with an unmatched attention for detail and he had an affinity for numbers. He was an avid fan of the Phillies and Eagles. Albert was a member of St. John Fisher Church. Albert was the son of the late Albert and Michelina "Lena" (Iacoangelo) Celestino. Albert is survived by his wife Diane, two sons Mark (Amanda), Michael, and daughter Michelle (Scott). Also surviving are his grandchildren, Kelsey, Ashley, Daniel, and Emma. Visitation: Thursday, April 27, 2023, 9:15am-10:15am at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA, 19061. Funeral Mass: Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 10:30am at St. John Fisher Church. Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. Condolences: www.nolanfidale.com.
