Albina S.
(Salamat) Tran
November 15, 1951 – October 10, 2025
Albina S. Tran, age 73, of West Deptford, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. Born in San Jose, Paombong, Bulacan, Philippines, Albina immigrated to the United States where she dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse at St. Joseph's Medical Center in North Philadelphia, until her retirement.
Albina was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Diep Tran, and cherished mother to her two children, Michael Tran and Divinia Carter. She cultivated special moments with her family, from breakfast dates with Diep to heartfelt talks with Divinia. Albina took immense joy in her role as a grandmother, proudly attending music concerts and sporting events for her grandson, Lorenzo, and enjoying afternoons in the park with her granddaughters, Juliana and Anatalia. As a devout Catholic, Albina was an active member of St. Matthews/Holy Angels Parish, faithfully attending mass and celebrating her deep spiritual connection. She adored cooking, shopping, and watching Filipino Teleseryes and the Philadelphia Eagles, and finding joy in life's simplest pleasures. Albina also cherished family vacations, especially the magical fireworks at Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
Albina is predeceased by her beloved parents, Manuel Salamat and Natalia Villanueva, and her siblings, Cesar V. Salamat, Lasaro V. Salamat, Faustino V. Salamat, and Lolita S. Aguilar.
She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Diep Tran; her children, Michael Tran (Asia) and Divinia Carter (James); and her treasured grandchildren, Lorenzo, Juliana, and Anatalia and her brother Francisco V. Salamat.
