Alfred V. Spevak,Sr., age 93, died on July 26, 2016. Alfred was a longtime resident of Linwood since 1956. Alfred served in the U.S. Army during World War II and he retired from Phoenix Steel in 1986. He was a member of Holy Saviour Church, Linwood and the American Legion Post #951 in Ogden. Alfred was an avid woodworker and also enjoyed photography.

He was the husband of the late Lillian (Johnson) Spevak, son of the late E. Charles and Rosa (Teuchert) Spevak, and brother of the late Harry Spevak, Hilda Maguire, Bertha Ebon, Alva Draper, Catherine Spevak, and Aileen Holmes.

SURVIVORS: sons: Alfred V. Spevak, Jr., (Victoria) of Oxford, PA., Michael Spevak of Middletown, DE, Walter Spevak (Ann Marie) of Deptford, NJ., and Jeffrey Spevak (Diane) of Mantua, NJ; daughter: Jessica Adams of Linwood; also survived by 11 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
