Alice Victoria (Gagliardi) Ponte, age 93, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her daughter's home in Eckert, Colorado on January 1, 2023. Alice was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a graduate of John Bartram High School. She was a longtime resident of Ardentown, DE where she worked by her husband's side in their business. Alice enjoyed cooking, gardening and most of all spending time with family. Later in life she moved to Eckert, CO to be closer to family. Before moving to Colorado, Alice was a longtime parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Claymont, DE. She is the daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Mignone) Gagliardi. and is predeceased by her husband, James Vincent Ponte and her siblings: Albert Gagliardi Jr. and Alberta Bellon. Survivors: Her children: James V. Ponte Jr., Lisa Espinoza, and Rene Deeble, her grandchildren: Kimberley Truman, Angelique Hein and Sarah Ryan, her great grandchildren: RJ Ort, Elwood Truman, Parker Hein, and Marissa and Crystal Truman. Visitation: Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 10:00am - 11:00am at Holy Rosary Church 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 11:00am at Holy Rosary Church. Burial: Arden Memorial Gardens in Wilmington, DE 19810.
