Amelia Agnes D'Intino, 97, passed away on Saturday evening, February 29 th, 2020, at home surrounded by her family.
Amelia was born and raised in Arsita, Province of Teramo, Abruzzi, Italy. At the age of 16, she moved to Chester, Pennsylvania, and later moved to Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey, where she raised her family. She returned to Pennsylvania, residing in Parkside, Brookhaven, and finally in East Stroudsburg.
Amelia worked as a seamstress for Dana Gowns in Chester, PA, and later worked as a saleswoman for maternity clothing.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Chester. She loved to sew, bake delicious cookies and sweets, cook fabulous meals and entertain family and friends. Amelia was very creative, enjoyed arts and crafts, had a beautiful smile and an impeccable sense of style. She was loved by all.
Amelia was the daughter of the late Louis and Carmela (DiCarlo) Quaciari; wife of the late Joseph D'Intino; and sister to the late Armond and Alexander Quaciari.
SURVIVORS: Her children: Carmine D'Intino and Annamaria Carfaro (Michael); and grandchildren: Danielle and Brittany Carfaro.
VISITATION: Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 10:00 – 11:15 am at the Nolan Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Avenue, Aston, PA 19014.
FUNERAL MASS: Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Charity Catholic Church, 231 Upland Road, Brookhaven, PA 19015.
BURIAL: Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
