Angelo C. Amoroso, age 55, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family, at Chester County Hospital. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Angelo graduated from Southern High School, class of 1984. He served his nation in the Army Reserves and completed ROTC. Angelo went on to attend Temple for Biology, and then earned his Master's degree from Kutztown where he studied Electronic Media. Angelo was a resident of South Philadelphia for 30 years, and resided in Honey Brook, PA, for the last 18 years. After many years of service Angelo retired from the City of Philadelphia Paramedic and Fire Department. In his free time, he loved to learn, play games, work on carpentry, and fish and camp. Most of all, Angelo loved to spend time with his family and cherished every moment with them.   Survivors: His loving wife of 21 years: Patricia (nee McKenna) Amoroso. Children: Matthew Keen (Obailu), Michael Amoroso, and Kathleen Amoroso. Father: Manfredi Amoroso Mother: Patricia (Squillaciotti) Blackburn and loving stepfather Joseph Blackburn. Grandchildren: Conor and Ryan. Beloved Aunt and 2nd mother: Marianne Squillaciotti. Uncles loved like brothers: John, Michael, Francis "Chickie", Anthony Squillaciotti and the late Joseph Squillaciotti.  Visitation: 11-11:45am Thursday November 11th at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014.  Funeral Service:  12pm Thursday November 11th at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home.
