Anita Nelms, age 62, passed away on June 4, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Aston, PA, and a proud graduate of the Rose Tree Media School District's special education program. Anita brought joy to everyone who knew her. She had a deep love for dancing and music of all kinds-especially Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, and Taylor Swift. She was also a devoted fan of Tinkerbell and was happiest when near the water, whether swimming in the pool or enjoying family trips to Wildwood Crest. Spaghetti and meatballs were her favorite meal, and she always looked forward to celebrating her birthday. Anita was known for her spotless room, her warm heart, and her constant smile. She especially loved her mother and cherished time spent with her large, loving family. More than anything, Anita loved life itself and was known by all for her joyful spirit and kind soul. She was the beloved daughter of the late Mary (née Dostillio) and James Nelms Jr. Survivors: her siblings: James Nelms III (Brenda), Deborah Lancianese, Mary Theresa Root (Joe), and Diane Carnevale (Kirk); as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who adored her.
