Anna Marie Carney (Hastings), age 77, passed away on December 30, 2016 at Life Care Hospital of Chester County in West Chester. She was born and raised in Ridley Park and was a 1957 graduate of Ridley High School. Marie currently resided in Upper Chichester.  She was employed by Barthco International as a switchboard operator, retiring in 2005 to look after her 2 grand dogs. Marie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed vacationing in Cape May and traveling by train to visit her daughter in Florida. She was a contributor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Martin) Schultz, wife of the late Charles Carney (2000), and mother of the late Ruthie Lynn Hastings and the late Kelly M. Reardon.

SURVIVORS: children: Raymond J. Hastings (Christine), Michael Hastings (Roseann), Frank Hastings (Margie), Charlene Carney, and Shannon Klagholz (Chris); grandchildren: Angela, Brianna, Melissa, Amber, Matthew, and Gina; great grandchildren: Kelly and Xavier.
