Anna M. Cartisano , age 95, of Glen Mills, PA, died peacefully on January 25, 2021. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, moving to Delaware County (Chester, PA) in 1953. Anna was employed as a secretary at Widener University and later at the Department of Navy at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard.

From the age of 4, Anna spent her summers at her family home in Wildwood, NJ. Anna and her husband later bought a condo at the shore and enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Longport and Ocean City, NJ. She was a strong swimmer and loved taking her children, and later her grandchildren, to the beach. Anna and her husband travelled several times a year with a group of lifelong friends. She also enjoyed watching Phillies games, card games, and crocheting, making many blankets for her grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late John J. and Anna M. (McCormick) Morley, wife of the late S. James Cartisano, mother of the late Charles Cartisano, and mother-in-law of the late James L. Byrnes. Anna was also predeceased by her 8 siblings.

Survivors: her daughters: Catherine A. Byrnes and Linda A. Cartisano; daughter-in-law: Barbara Cartisano; grandchildren: James L. Byrnes, Kimberly A. (Byrnes) Vanderhoff, Cristie M. (Cartisano) Wooters, and Barbara J. (Cartisano) Chalker; great-grandchildren: Godfrey and Hero McDonough-Byrnes, Chloe, Matthew, and Bradley Vanderhoff, London and Liam Wooters, and Bentley Chalker.

Visitation: Friday, January 29, 2021 from 9:15-10:15 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA. Funeral Mass: Friday, January 29, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Burial: St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Glen Mills.
