IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anne E
Ganter
April 3, 1947 – January 25, 2026
Anne E. Ganter, age 78, passed away on January 25, 2026. Born and raised in Chester, PA, Anne most recently lived in Linwood. She worked at Fiber Metal, where she met her husband, Ed, and later at Naaman's Drive-In. But the role she cherished most was caring for her family. She lovingly raised her son, Edward, and devoted herself to her granddaughter, Kellianne, offering steady love and guidance throughout their lives.
Anne had a deep affection for animals, especially her beloved dog Josie, who was her constant companion, her "grandpup," Corvus, and a lifelong love of horses. She found comfort in simple joys: listening to ocean waves, rainy and chilly days, snowy winter evenings, and the peaceful quiet of late nights. Wildwood-especially her September stays at the Shore Plaza-held a special place in her heart. She also loved cardinals, and spotting one always took her breath away.
She enjoyed watching QVC, lunches at Olive Garden, and had a well-known sweet tooth. Anne faced her final days with quiet acceptance and passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was a parishioner of St. Robert's Church and later Holy Saviour Church.
Anne was the daughter of the late Etro and Gertrude DiAngelo, wife of the late Edward Ganter, Sr., and sister to the late Ettore DiAngelo.
She is survived by her son, Edward Ganter, Jr., and her granddaughter, Kellianne Ganter (Michael James).
Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne's name can be made to the ASPCA.
