Anne Dolores Getz July 23, 1932 - February 1, 2024 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Anne D. Getz, age 91, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Anne peacefully departed this life on February 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Anne was born in Havertown, Pennsylvania to Leo J. and Marie Robb and was a graduate of Scared Heart Academy, class of 1950. She had a strong sense of family and was greatly devoted to her children. She touched many lives with her eagerness to listen and her gift of understanding. Anne loved to read and enjoyed working in the garden. She loved spending time with her children, 11 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, who all adored her. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. and her brothers, Leo Robb, Jr., George Robb, and Ralph Robb Sr. Anne's spirit will forever be cherished by her children, Kathleen Green (Richard), Paul Getz (Sandra), Suzanne Rayfield (Paul), Peter Getz (Susan) and David W. Getz (Theresa), as well as her brother Frank Robb. Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will leave an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. The funeral Mass to honor Anne's life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi, located at 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield. Prior to the Mass, a public visitation will be held at the church from 9:30-10:45 am, providing an opportunity for friends and loved ones to pay their final respects. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, in support of her grandson and ongoing research and initiatives in the fight against cancer. Anne will forever be remembered as a woman of strength, grace, and unwavering love. Her departure leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories she created and the love she shared. May she rest in eternal peace.
