Obituary

Anthony Joseph De Meo, age 68, a resident of Aston, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on October 30, 2026. Tony was born and raised in Chester, PA, to his parents, Andrew and Rose De Meo. Following his graduation from St. James High School in 1976, Tony started working on his Associates Degree at Delaware County Community College, continuing at Widener, and then graduating from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (Now Thomas Jefferson University) with a Bachelors in Marketing. Tony did all of his higher education in the evenings while working in the accounting field during the day. His work history includes accounting at Astrojet, Quiktech, and Cliq prior to his retirement in May of 2023.

In his free time, Tony enjoyed taking care of and detailing his cars. He also loved to travel with his wife, Loretta, to destinations like Mexico City, Spain, Italy, and often Canada, where they once ice skated in the Rideau Canal in Ottawa. Tony was an avid sports fan, rooting for the Eagles and Flyers over the years. He was an athlete himself, playing ice hockey during his time at St. James.

Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Rose De Meo, his sister Rosemarie De Meo, and his beloved wife, Loretta De Meo, who passed in April of 2026.
