Obituary

Anthony "AJ" Joseph Italiano, age 30, beloved son, brother and friend to many, left this life on December 6, 2021. A soulful, compassionate and generous person, AJ always put others first and found joy in making people happy, especially those in need.

AJ was a man of enormous passion and accomplishments, with eclectic and devoted interests across music, skateboarding, snowboarding, travel and technology. He was an excellent photographer who had his first pic in Rolling Stone magazine at age 16. He loved being  behind the camera, often spending long nights editing photos and videos to perfection to make lasting enjoyable memories for everyone that knew him.  He also was a master at using drones for personal and business videos and developed websites for the family commercial real estate business and other companies.

An avid skateboarder, he was a staple at the local parks where he enjoyed skating and hanging out with his many friends of all ages. A very compassionate soul for others who were suffering, he tried to help the homeless every chance he had by bringing food and clothing to shelters.

Always wanting to connect with his friends in person that moved far from West Chester, AJ enjoyed doing impromptu road trips across the country to see everyone and visit new places.

Anthony leaves behind his proud and loving parents, Steve and Joanne, his only brother, Steven, and his beloved Labrador buddy, Tipper, as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins from coast to coast.

Anthony was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Samuel and Mary Italiano and his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Angela DeGregorio. Anthony will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers,  donations in Anthony's honor can be made to Safe Harbor, a nonprofit local West Chester organization that helps the homeless in a myriad of ways, 20 N. Matlack Street, West Chester, PA Safe Harbor of Chester County December 16, 2021 (safeharborofcc.org) or an animal shelter of your choice in Anthony's memory.
