Antoinette "Netty" Marie Pedante, 95, of Chester, PA, peacefully passed away on February 9, 2022. Netty was born on November 5, 1926 to parents Vincenza and Luigi Pompilii, who emigrated from Italy. She graduated from Chester High School in 1944. Her natural kindness and ability to put others at ease led Netty to become a registered nurse with Chester Hospital in 1947. During her nursing career, she worked at Sacred Heart Hospital, Elwyn Institute, Riddle Memorial Hospital and in Delaware County Intermediate Schools. Netty married her husband, Richard Pedante, in 1949. A lifelong Catholic, Netty was a Member of Our Lady of Charity parish in Brookhaven, PA. Netty lived a life full of laughter and love. She cherished her time with loved ones, enjoyed reading books and was a fan of Elvis, the Phillies, and classic Western movies. She will be remembered for her quick wit, cheery optimism, and for her loyalty to her family. Her family would like to thank the staff of Lima Estates, who took such exceptional care of Netty during the years that she lived there. Netty was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents, Luigi and Vincenza, her sister Verna, and her brother Albert.

SURVIVORS: her 2 sons, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
