Obituary

Arthur R. Adkins, age 83, of Boothwyn, passed away on January 27, 2019. He was raised in Delaware County and was a graduate of Chester High School. Arthur was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from Scott Paper/Kimberly-Clark where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of the Marcus Hook Baptist Church and a 20+ year member of the Aston Gun Club.

He was the son of the late Arthur and Josephine Adkins and grandfather of the late Dominick A. DiGiacomo.

SURVIVORS: his loving wife: Pauline M. (nee Nickle) Adkins; children: Robert Lee Bowden and Brenda Sue (nee Bowden) DiGiacomo; siblings: Kenneth Adkins and Diane (nee Adkins) Rausch; granddaughter: Amanda Corner; and great grandchildren: Dominick J. DiGiacomo, Mariah A. DiGiacomo, and Dominick A. DiGiacomo, Jr.

VISITATION: Friday from 10:00-11:15 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday at 11:30 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. BURIAL: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.
