Barbara A. (Rybak) Ellis, age 73, lost her short and courageous battle with cancer on August 5, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Aston, PA. Barbara was raised in Chester where she graduated from Notre Dame Girls High School in Moylan, PA. She was a hairdresser for many years and worked for Sears in the furniture department before her retirement. Barbara was a former member of St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Chester and a current member of St. Joseph's Church in Aston. Mrs. Ellis enjoyed shopping, going to craft shows, camping, trips to Cape May, NJ and most importantly loved her grandchildren and time with her family.

She is the daughter of the late Alexander Rybak and Mary Nowak Rybak.

SURVIVORS: her loving husband of 53 years: Ronald Ellis, her children: Amy Carter (Mark) and Beth Gannon (Gerry), her beloved grandchildren: Amanda and Caitlin Carter, Madeline, Abigail, Kevyn and Brendon Gannon, and her 2 brothers: Alexander (Rose) and Edward Rybak (Penny).

Visitation: Tuesday, August 10, 2021, from 6:30-8:30pm and Wednesday, August 11th from 9:30-10:15am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014 Funeral Mass: Wednesday, August 11th at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston, PA.  Burial: Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crozer Keystone Home Health & Hospice www.crozerkeystone.org.
