Barbara R. (Getty) Norcia passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday afternoon, August 19, 2023. She was 83 years old. She was raised in Media, PA and was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1958. For the past 20 years, Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends during the summer in Ocean City, NJ, and the remainder of the year in Palm Beach Shores, FL. In 2018, she became a full-time resident of Palm Beach Shores with her beloved husband to enjoy the ocean view. In her spare time, she enjoyed swimming, dancing, singing, and playing bridge. She is the daughter of the late William and Sarah Getty and loving wife to the late John Norcia (2022) and mother to the late Edward Hill, Jr. She was also predeceased by her siblings: William Getty, Jr., Matilda Haas, Isabel Jackson, and Florence Guerrero. Barbara is survived by her three children Patricia Hill (Everitt) Wright, Tammi Bratun (Richard Royle), and Jeffrey Hill and their families, her five grandchildren: Danielle, Zachary, Melissa, Andrew, and Laura, her great grandson Jaxon and her brother Samuel Getty as well as three stepchildren Andrea (Bill) Sigle, Rose Norcia and Patsy (Seriniti) Norcia and their families and children: Emily (Travis) Diminick, Joshua, Jonathan, and John.
