Barry "BJ" McGriff, Sr., age 37 , died October 9, 2017. BJ proudly served our country as part of the Marine Corps. He also gave his time as a Volunteer Fire Fighter. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for nearly 14 years. BJ will be remembered for his great sense of humor and quick wit. He was always quick with a joke or pun followed by his great smile and would be described as a joy to be around. BJ loved repairing cars; despite his inability to do so. He was an avid learner, often watching National Geographic and other videos on YouTube and debating those topics with friends and family. BJ also loved playing video games.

SURVIVORS: his parents: Constantine and Cecilia McGriff; his children: Ben, Alyssa, and Jr. "Bear"; and his siblings: Tina (George), Angela, John, Jordan, and Kyrstin.

VISITATION: Saturday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday at 12:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd. BURIAL: Private. In Lieu of Flowers: Donations may be made in BJ's name at helpingupmission.
