IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bernice Bradley
Watson
July 28, 1934 – February 23, 2022
Social butterfly Bernice Bradley Watson, (nee Burke) affectionately known as "Bee," age 87, of Media, PA passed away to be with the Lord on February 23rd, 2022.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Bernice moved to Media in 1942, graduated from Media High School in 1952, Douglass College in 1956, and received her master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 1958. Bernice worked for Delaware County as a social worker for 39 years.
Bernice loved to travel, whether it was abroad in the UK, enjoying the many wonders of our own country, or visiting the Kimberly-Clark factory to make sure they had enough raw materials for more tissues. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music, studying history, and destroying said tissues at an epic rate. Bernice was a longtime member of Holy Saviour-St. John Fisher Parish.
She will be greatly missed by the remaining members of the "Over the Hill Gang" and those remaining from Media High School Class of 1952. She missed her dearly departed Flora Lane friends Pat, Ida, Mary, and the five mailboxes we had destroyed by cars.
Bernice is predeceased by her parents Edward and Helen Burke of Wilkes-Barre and her first husband William O. Bradley.
Survivors: Her loving husband of 25 years, Bruce Watson, her beloved children William Michael (Dewyne), Steven H and David M Bradley, and step-daughters Laura Eades (David) and Sarah Watson. Her grandchildren Kyler Bradley, Danae Mehl (Ian) and step-grandchildren Carlton, James, Hope, Kathryn, and Lynnae Eades.
