Betty Jean Cominskie, age 83, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Chester, PA, and was most recently residing in Upper Chichester, PA. In her free time Betty Jean enjoyed doing puzzles and crosswords. Betty Jean was a dedicated and caring homemaker who loved and adored her family. Betty Jean is the daughter of the late Barrett Borden Duke and Nellie Frances Jamerson, wife of 30 years of the late George Roy Cominskie, and sister of the late Bobby, Barrett, Sonny, and Jimmy Duke, and Caroline Rokitka. Survivors: Son: Vincent J. Duke. Sisters: Alma "Sis" Murdock and Diane Ciesielski. Grandchildren: Adam Vincent Duke (Kelly) and Bryan James Duke (Desiree).
