Brett S. Hoffman, age 61, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and teacher, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Chester County Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, Brett spent his early years in Huntington Valley. He lived in the Northeast section of Philadelphia and graduated from Lower Moreland High School in 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania and he earned his Masters of Education degree from Arcadia University.
Brett dedicated his life to education where he served as an English and Mathematics teacher within the Phoenixville Area School District. He shared his passion for learning with countless students over the years, leaving a lasting impact on all those he taught.
Beyond his professional career endeavors, Brett was a man of many interests and talents. He found joy in playing the piano, collecting musical instruments and engaging in games of chess. His love of physics and dedication to lifelong learning set him apart, embodying a spirit of intellectual curiosity and exploration.
He cherished moments of leisure, often spending time biking, playing tennis, and embarking on adventurous travels to Israel, Italy, and the Jersey Shore. But Brett's most treasured moments were those spent at home with his beloved family.
Brett was predeceased by his parents Donald Hoffman and Madeline Gordon.
SURVIVORS: His beloved wife of 26 years, Rosemary Hoffman, his cherished children Meredith Copeland and Andrew Daniels, his son-in-law Scott Copeland, his grandchildren, Lily, Margaret, and Adalind Copeland, and Anthony Daniels, his sister Susan Williams, his niece Sarah Williams and nephew Benjamin Williams.
VISITATION: Monday June 3, 2024 from 10:00 am - 11:00am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston.
FUNERAL SERVICE : Monday June 3, 2024 at 11:00am at the funeral home
BURIAL: ST Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
