Brian Kent Quinney, age 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Boothwyn, PA on October 12, 2022. Brian was a graduate of Chichester High School class of 1965 and was a longtime resident of Boothwyn, PA. In his earlier years he enjoyed coaching football at the former Resurrection Catholic School in Chester. Brian worked for more than 35 years for PECO before his retirement from there. His hobbies included: woodworking, reading, collecting History memorabilia, and cheering on his Philadelphia sports teams. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. Brian was a member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church in Aston, the American Legion Post #951, and was a Masonic Penn Lodge #709 F & AM. Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Catherine (Alexander) Quinney Survivors: Brian is survived by his wife; Suzanne (Strouse) Quinney, Dawn Fortuna (Mike), and Colleen Biddle (Scott), his 2 brothers: Leonard and Bruce Quinney, his grandchildren: Michael Fortuna (Sara), Maxwell Fortuna (Bridget), Caitlyn Coleman (Brian), and his great grandchildren: Michael Fortuna, Cole Fortuna, Vienna Fortuna, Wriggs Coleman, and Walker Fortuna. Visitation: Tuesday, October 18,2022 from 9:30-11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Masonic Service: Tuesday at 11:00am followed by Brian's Funeral Service at 11:15am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
