IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian D.
Slater
March 8, 1974 – August 7, 2021
Brian D. Slater, age 47, of Glen Mills, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family,
Brian is survived by his wife, Heather Hughes Slater and his son Brayden. Brayden was the light if Brian's life. He made a point of teaching Brayden about the joy of pop music and dance, with an emphasis on Brian's favorite entertainers, Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake. As a friend or family member, you could always count on Brian to send you a new picture or video of Brayden's latest dance moves, filmed with love by his dad.
Brian was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School and Millersville University. Always an all-star athlete, Brian started playing football in the pee wee league and continued throughout his high school years. He was the pride and joy of his now-deceased grandparents, Norma and Edward Slater and Samuel Fry who were always present in cheering him on in his athletic endeavors. Through football, Brian developed many close friendships that have continued to this day.
A fun and care-free spirit, Brian loved exploring the world and lived in a variety of places; always excited to share his new environment with others. His diverse work pursuits included modeling and selling medical treatments to physicians. Brian was also a devoted dog-dad to both Bella and Stella.
In addition to Heather, Brayden, parents Linda and Eric, Brian is also survived by his brother and brother-in-law Jeffrey and Jim Slater-Cote of Provincetown, MA, his grandmother Arlene Fry of Harrisburg, and his aunt, uncle, and cousin Debbie, Gerry, and Lauren Wire of Harrisburg.
