Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carla DiBernardi, age 54, who left us peacefully on September 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Swedesboro, NJ.

Carla was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Richard DiBernardi, with whom she shared 30 years of love and partnership. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Joseph and Dominic, who brought her immeasurable joy. Carla was a kind and compassionate soul poured her heart into her family, never missing a sporting event or activity, and always cheering for her boys from the sidelines. For over 24 years, she served as a patient services representative at Penn Medicine Radiology, where her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many. Carla's kind words, warm smile, gentle spirit, and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Carla had a passion for life that included her love for the Philadelphia Phillies, the joys of gardening, and creating delicious meals, and making her famous sauce. A talented home decorator, she had a gift for transforming spaces into warm and inviting environments filled with love.

Carla is survived by her devoted husband Richard, her cherished sons Joseph and Dominic, her sister Theresa Dedato Davidson, and her twin sister Maria Conn (Christopher). Brother in Laws Dominic DiBernardi (John Mosteller) and Robert DiBernardi (Angela), She is also remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews: Zachery (Ashley), Nicholas, Michael, Robert Jr., Samantha, Lauren, Jessica, and Andrew, along with her great-nephew Oliver and great-niece Macie.

In this time of sorrow, we invite all who knew and loved Carla to join us in remembering her beautiful spirit and the profound impact she had on our lives. Carla's life will be celebrated with a visitation on Monday evening, September 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, located at 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston. A public visitation will continue on Tuesday morning, September 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 1920 Providence Ave, Chester, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Carla will be laid to rest at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield.
