Carol Ann Wiggins (Nee Stamm) , age 70, a resident of Garnet Valley, passed away on July 31, 2020.

Carol was raised in Folsom, PA and was a 1967 graduate of Ridley High School. She worked at State Farm Insurance for six years before the birth of her first son, David, and was then a homemaker while her boys attended school. Later, she worked as a Library Assistant at the Rachel Kohl Library in Concord Township for ten years before retiring in 2009. She attended Folsom Presbyterian and Faith Baptist Church before finally joining New Liberty Baptist Church in Aston.

Carol enjoyed quilting, especially while listening to country music; her favorite artists being Kenny Rogers, John Denver, and Dolly Parton.  Her favorite form of entertainment was watching John Wayne movies, "I Love Lucy," and "Criminal Minds."  She also enjoyed attending country music concerts.   Carol delighted in decorating the house from top to bottom for each of the monthly holidays and made Christmas particularly memorable.  She was a wonderful cook, preparing family dinner each evening for decades.  She loved to bake for her children and grandkids and a special treat was Grandmom's layered ice cream cake.  Carol loved all animals, but above all was her beloved collie, Duke.  An avid reader, she would relax while reading historical fiction stories, often about pioneer times or Amish life.  For the last 13 years, she enjoyed spending summer and autumn weekends on the Jersey shore in Wildwood Crest and nearby Cape May with family and friends

She was the daughter of the late George W. and Florence Stamm, mother of the late Joshua Wiggins (Kristin) and sister of the late George Stamm (Jackie).

SURVIVORS: Husband: David Wiggins, Jr.; Children: David III (Stacy), Christopher (Melissa), Zachary (Katie); Sister: Susan Stamm; Grandchildren: David IV (Sam), Anna, Luke, Liam, Alison, Gavin, Ryan, Sean, and Piper.

VISITATION:  Saturday from 9:30-10:45am at New Liberty Baptist Church, 3210 Concord Rd., Aston, PA. Funeral Service: Saturday at 11:00 am at New Liberty Baptist Church.
