Carol Ann Martin, 72, of Aston passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Born in Delaware County, she was an area resident for most of her life. She grew up in Concord Township and graduated from Garnet Valley High School. Carol served as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech at Riddle Memorial Hospital for 27 years and retired in 2017. Carol was an avid bowler, participating in the AARP League at Sproul Lanes. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, attending concerts, visiting the casino, admiring wildlife, and collecting nutcrackers. Above all she cherished time spent with her beloved family. She was a caretaker by nature and often placed others above herself. She was a parishioner of the Church of St. Joseph's located in Aston, Pennsylvania. Survivors: her beloved husband Charles Ed Martin, three children: Kimberly Carrillo (Sergio), Jennifer Glissman, and Melissa Glissman (Jonathan), four step-children: Charles E. Martin, Jr., Debra Chaback (Roger), Christine Cylc, and Cheryl Madani, one sibling: Dorothy Dudley (Bruce). Additionally, she is survived by 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents: Russell G. Wylie and Dorothy (Inners), two siblings: Russell Wylie (Sandra) and Raymond Wylie (Leslie).
