Catherine "Mickey" B. Schatz, age 98, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 9, 2022. Mickey was born on Flag Day, June 14th, a fact that she was deeply proud of. She grew up in Glenolden, PA and resided in Wilmington, DE for the past 50 years. Mickey was an employee of Superior Model Co. for many years before eventually retiring. She was a parishioner of the Church of Holy Child in Wilmington, DE. In her spare time Mickey enjoyed cooking, sewing, and collecting and painting miniatures. She is the daughter of the late John and Catherine Munce. Mickey was predeceased by her loving husband William H. Schatz, Sr., her son William H. Schatz, Jr., her son-in-law Robert John Barlow, and her siblings Margaret Pattie, Jacqueline McKenna, John Munce, Jr., and George Munce. Survivors: Her two children Kathleen Schatz Barlow and Joseph Schatz (Susan), her sister Anne-Marie Fellman, as well as 18 Grandchildren, 37 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
