IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Catherine G.
Bogert
February 14, 1933 – October 24, 2025
Catherine G. Bogert, age 92, formerly of Centre Hall, PA, passed away on October 24, 2025, at her daughter's home in Upper Chichester, PA. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, on February 14, 1933 to Francis and Catharine Hansen, raised in South West Philadelphia, and was a 1952 graduate of John Bartram High School. Catherine was independent and spunky, traits she needed as a young single mother in the 1960s. She worked tirelessly to raise her four children, putting them through Catholic School, and working full time in Hotel and Motel Management. Even on her days off she did not want to stop or take a break from what needed to be done for her family or around the house. In recent years her age did not slow her down, she could still be found scaling ladders to clean gutters or riding the mower around her property before she moved in with her daughter. She loved being a mother and took great pride in her children and grandchildren whom she cherished deeply, always making time for whatever they needed. Her grandchildren will fondly remember the weeks they spent with her during the summers and the pankirks she lovingly cooked for them. Following her marriage to her second husband, Robert, she went to work at the restaurants they owned together, Centre Villa East and Centre Villa West. In her free time she liked to read, solve seek and finds, garden, and care for animals.
Catherine was the daughter of the late Francis and Catharine Hansen, sister of the late Frances Cripps and Eleanor Healy, and wife of the late Robert A. Bogert (2010).Survivors: Children: Donna Riddle (Joe), Cathie Comito (Steve), Suzanne Ross (Kevin), and Robert Garber (Debra).
