Charles Anthony Ferrante, 86, a resident of Trainer, passed away after a long illness on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Charles was born and raised in Chester and later moved to Trainer in 1960 where he lived for 62 years. He worked as an electrician for Scott Paper and Linde Air, and various new home construction projects. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and devoted much of his time to taking care of his family. He loved figuring out how things worked and enjoyed tinkering with different gadgets and fixing things. Charles also loved to cook and often made the family's meatballs for Sunday dinners and special occasions.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Carmen and Carmella (Calabro) Ferrante, his brothers Nicholas Ferrante and Dr. Samuel Ferrante, and his sister Louise Ferrante.
SURVIVORS: His loving wife of 68 years: Mildred (Fallon) Ferrante; his children: Deborah Ferrante and Carol Catalutch (William); his beloved grandchildren: Christina Stitt (Nathaniel), and William and Caden (Ashlee) Catalutch; sister-in-law: Frances Ferrante; and many loving nieces and nephews.
