Charles T. "Chick" McLaughlin, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2020 with his family by his side. Chick was a graduate of Glen-Nor High School and was a member of the football team. Charles served his country proudly with the United States Army in the 101st Airborne. He was a longtime resident of Chadds Ford and enjoyed his summers at his home in Bethany Beach, DE. Chick was the owner and operator of James Pool and Patio, Inc. of Concordville, PA for more than 38 years. Charles was a longtime parishioner of St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Chadds Ford.

He was the son of the late James C. and Marie A. (Boyd) McLaughlin.

Survivors: His wife: Agnes D. (DeMaio) McLaughlin; his children: Ann Marie Fluharty (Michael), James C. McLaughlin, Annette Harriman (Charles), and Charles D. "Chick" McLaughlin; and his 7 beloved grandchildren: Nicholas, Charles, Alex, Casey, Olivia, Zachary, and Isabella

Visitation: Monday, January 20, 2020 from 9:15-10:45 am at St. Cornelius Church, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA. Funeral Mass: Monday, January 20, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Cornelius Church. Burial: Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 10:00 am at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
