IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charlotte A.
(Jakubowski) Dinicola
December 31, 1946 – November 8, 2022
Charlotte A. (Jakubowski) DiNicola, age 75, a longtime resident of Aston, PA passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2022. Part of her was lost when her soulmate, Vic, passed in June of this year. Vic and Char's love story is truly a fairytale, one most do not get to experience. It included over 55 years of marriage, four children and eight grandchildren. She was raised and educated in the Woodlyn section of Ridley Township and was a graduate of Ridley High School. Charlotte worked for a number of years at the former Franklin Mint. Charlotte loved working with her hands. She liked creating flower arrangements, many times making beautiful bridal and prom flowers as well as centerpieces. She was also a very talented seamstress, creating formal wear as well as doing a quick hem. In addition, she enjoyed her casino time, her glass of wine, arts and crafts but her favorite pastime was spending time with her children/grandchildren. She loved family traditions and teaching the kids those traditions. Her favorite activity was cooking, she was a great cook and could make a simple meal taste delightful. She loved the holidays and Thanksgiving dinner was her specialty! She loved making pies with her grandchildren. Christmas Eve always included homemade (never count) pierogis, a tradition/recipe that has been handed down by many generations. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Baran) Jakubowski. She is preceded in death by her brother Robert Baran and his wife Nancy Baran and her brother Charles "Butch" Jakubowski, as well as her husband of 55 years Victor DiNicola. Survivors: Her 4 loving children: Lisa Wilson (Shawn), Jennifer Evans (Jimmy), Victor DiNicola (Amanda) and Christine Vollmer (Greg), her brother Stephen Jakubowski (Cass) and her beloved grandchildren: JJ (Katie), Lauren (Steve), Brett (Tina), Nathan, Lucy, Bryce, Madeline, Madison, and Charlie. Many nieces and nephews and extended family. Also, her long-time friend, Shelly Litwin. Visitation: Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home 5980 Chichester Ave Aston, PA 19014.
