Christopher R. Greentree, age 71, died September 23, 2016 in Virginia Beach while surrounded by family. Prior to retiring in Virginia Beach, Mr. Greentree lived in Brigantine, NJ and was a longtime resident of Garnet Valley, PA for 33 years. Mr. Greentree served his country as a member of the PA National Guard. He worked tirelessly as the owner and operator of Village Green Exxon in Aston, PA from 1971 to 1992. He then worked 15 years for Pep Boys until he retired in 2007. After retiring, he enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and especially his wonderful grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Richards) Greentree.
SURVIVORS: His devoted wife: Carole Rose (Petrone) Greentree. Loving Children: Christopher (Valerie), Joseph (Kristin) and Michael (Vivian). Cherished Grandchildren: Austin, Michael, Jake, Emilie, Hannah, Walker, and Josephine. Beloved brother: Stu (Kim) Greentree
VISITATION: Saturday from 9:00-10:30am at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA. Funeral Service and Burial to follow at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60611 or at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org in the name of Christopher R. Greentree.
