Constance "Connie" Church, age 75, a resident of Garnet Valley, PA passed away on January 25th, 2024. Born on February 24, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Connie touched the lives of many with her kindness, intelligence and unwavering love for her family.
Connie was raised in the Catholic tradition and attended St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She went to Holy Child High School in Drexel Hill. Connie was a woman of great ambition and determination. A lifelong learner who held the highest level of education with a doctorate degree. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to Cabrini College, University of Phoenix, and eventually Lexington University for her doctorate. Throughout her life, Connie embraced opportunities for personal growth and intellectual enrichment. As a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, she exemplified the values of scholarship, leadership, and service. She saw education as a means to expand her horizons.
In her professional life, Connie had a successful career as an Insurance Analyst in the health care industry, where her exceptional analytical skills and dedication shone through. Outside of work, she found joy in various hobbies and passions. With a deep love for horses, particularly in the art of dressage, she showcased elegance and grace in the equestrian world. And as an avid seamstress, Connie displayed creativity and talent through her many sewing projects.
Connie and her husband Ron built a wonderful life together, raising their family on a farm that was home to Arabian and miniature horses, and a lovable assortment of animals. Family was at the center of Connie's world, and she especially cherished every moment spent with her granddaughters.
She is the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Hoyt) Dixon, and sister to the late Marybeth Dixon.
Survivors: Her loving husband of 37 years: Ronald Church, her loving children: Kelly Cahill (Terrence) and Nicholas Church, her brother: Chuck Dixon (Elma), and her granddaughters: Paige and Lauren Cahill.
Visitation: Friday, February 2, 2024, from 10:00am - 11:15am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston, PA 19014.
