Cornelius (Neil) J. Horgan, (b. 10/1/1935) passed away after a long illness at the age of 87 on October 5, 2022. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Neil lived full time for the past several years in Stone Harbor, NJ. A graduate of Wilmington High School and the University of Delaware, he earned a Masters Degree in Psychology from Temple University and worked as an executive in Human Resources at Sunoco in Philadelphia and Radnor, PA. During and after his time at Sunoco, Neil engaged his passion for teaching as an instructor in Human Resources at Cabrini College and Villanova University. Neil is survived by his wife, Jean (Sninchak) Horgan, two sons: Neil (Katie) and Andrew (Alex) and their respective families, including grandchildren Aidan and Keira, and by his two brothers William and Richard. Visitation will be Saturday October 15, 2022 from 10-11:15am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4701 Weldin Road, Wilmington, DE 19803 Funeral Mass: Saturday October 15, 2022 at 11:30am at the church. Burial will be private.
