Obituary

Dale E. Bowders, age 76, passed away on April 27, 2026. Dale was born in Hagerstown, MD, and moved to Ridley Park, PA at the age of 12. He spent many years there, he was a graduate of Ridley High School and it is where he raised his family. Most recently lived in Boothwyn, PA. Dale served his country proudly in the United States Army as a radar repair technician. Following his service, he worked in sheet metal fabrication for Westinghouse before beginning a long career with Boeing. At Boeing, he worked in the Tooling and Die Department, where he remained for 30 years until his retirement.

Dale was a member of the Aston Field & Stream Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking with his family, golfing, and rooting on his favorite Philadelphia sports teams. He had a strong interest in cars, whether working on his 1970s Mustang with his son or attending car shows. Dale also played softball for the Boeing company team and bowled alongside his wife, Rose, in the St. Madeline's bowling league. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren.

He was the son of the late Melvin and Evelyn (née Ensminger) Bowders and the beloved husband of the late Rosalba "Rose" (née Carlini) Bowders.

He is survived by his loving children, Jennifer Karsch (Stephen) and Gregory Bowders (Julie); his sister, Linda Thompson; and his grandchildren, Madeline and Andrew Karsch, and Savannah and Gabriella Bowders.
