IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daniel M.
Jackson
November 24, 1958 – November 29, 2023
Daniel M. "Danny" Jackson, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2023. Born and raised in Wallingford, PA, Danny spent the majority of his life there but over the last decade, he called Aston, PA, his home. For many years, Danny dedicated his time and energy to Elwyn's shelter workshop, and was known for his hard work and commitment. He had a fondness for music, especially songs from the 1960's, which was a defining element of his personality. Among his favorites was Petula Clark's timeless hit, "Downtown," a song that held a special place in his heart. Danny found joy in various activities that brought people together. Whether it was a game of pool, ping pong, or connect four, he enjoyed the camaraderie of friendly competition. However, it was on the basketball court where Danny truly shone, rarely missing a shot. His favorite food was pizza or as he liked to call it "Pizza Fireworks". Above all else one of Danny's favorite activity was spending time and coloring with his great nieces and nephews. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Elwyn who became more than just support; they became family to Danny. Their compassion and dedication enriched his life, providing comfort and companionship. He is the son of the late Dr. Paul W. (2018) and Gloria (Saint Villiers) Jackson (2022) and brother to the late Paul D. "Dave" Jackson (1996) and Yvonne Kehney (2004). Survivors: His loving sister: Yvette Balco (Tom), his nieces and nephews: Sonia Byrnes, Heather Kehney, April Coleman, Lisamarie Clark,Paul Jackson, and Kristyn McColl, as well as 12 great nieces and nephews.
