Daniel Joseph McLaughlin, age 77, a longtime resident of Upland, PA, passed away on March 12, 2020.

Daniel was raised in Philadelphia and was a 1960 graduate of West Catholic School. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Joseph's University in 1964. After graduation, he worked as an accountant for over 30 years with Crozer Chester Medical Center. Daniel was a volunteer for the Sunshine Foundation and was an Executive Board Member of the Victoria's Friends Foundation. He was an avid golfer, bowler and a fan of Philadelphia sports teams.

He was the son of the late James and Catherine (Cooney) Flanagan, husband of the late Ethel McLaughlin, stepfather to the late William Murtaugh, and brother to the late Catherine Hitchner.

SURVIVORS: Children: Daniel McLaughlin (Christine), David McLaughlin; Stepchildren: Lauren Murtaugh and Lisa Murtaugh (Karen); Nieces: Dawn DiPierro and Deborah Flick; and Nephew: Bill Hitchner.
