IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David "Dave"
W. Reiher
October 12, 1980 – February 15, 2023
With deep sadness, we announce the untimely passing of David "Dave" Wayne Reiher, who was a devoted father, fiance, brother, son, and friend to many. Dave passed away unexpectedly on February 15th at the age of 42, leaving everyone who knew him in grief and shock. Dave was born on October 12, 1980, and raised in Aston, Pennsylvania. As a child, he was known for his love for sports and his mischievous sense of humor. He attended American Christian School where he excelled in soccer, basketball, and baseball. Dave's fascination with electrical work led him to pursue a career as an electrician. He completed his apprenticeship for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local union 654 and ultimately ended up at Calpine Corporation Hay Road Energy Center where he found his work family who pinned him as "The Gift". While there, Dave's colleagues appreciated his attention to detail, precision, and expertise, and he took great pride in his work. Dave's love for his family knew no bounds, and he was the center of their world. He was a role model to his three children and a constant source of love and support to his fiance, Kim. Dave's infectious personality, larger-than-life persona, love of politics (his infamous memes), Cornhole obsession and sense of humor will be cherished by his family forever. Dave had a tremendous impact on the lives of his friends. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way for those he loved. Dave was always willing to lend a listening ear, helping hand, and had no fear of telling you that you're doing it wrong while taking over. His larger than life personality and kind heart made him a beloved friend to many, and his passing has left a deep void in the lives of those who knew him. Dave will always be remembered for the positive impact he had on the lives of his family & friends. Dave is survived by his fiance Kim, his mother Jackie Kilmer, his siblings, David Kilmer, Traci Counts, June Glass, and Scot Reiher, and his three children, Jameson (13), Hayden Rose (8), and Jaxon (6). His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his life. Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by a celebration of Dave's life at 12:00pm on Friday, February 24th at Valley Point Church, 209 Bethel Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342. In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe has been set up for Dave's children. Donations can be made through the link below:
