Dolores L. Ardes (nee Fromal) , age 92, a longtime resident of Brookhaven, died January 31, 2019 at The Residence at Glen Riddle in Media. She was raised in Chester and attended Chester Schools. She worked for 10 years as a nurse's aide at Ross Manor but spent most of her life as a caregiver and homemaker.
Dolores enjoyed country line dancing with the Delco Seniors, going to the Redwood Community Center in Brookhaven, roller skating at the Great Leopard in Chester, bowling, and playing slots at casinos. She also loved to go shopping and gardening.
She was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Bertha (Davis) Fromal, wife of the late John Ardes, and mother of the late Sandy Ardes.
Survivors: Children: Diane Pryce (Hal) and Cheryl Jeanes (Kenny); Companion: Ray Warner; Grandchildren: Jack, Danny Pryce (Michelle), Heather Hall (Dan), and Brad & Kyle Jeanes; and Great Grandchildren: Amanda Mullen (Fran), Johnny, Cassy, Corey, Tyler, Madison, Harlee Pryce, and Christian Sparks, and Julia, Kayla, and Alex Jeanes. Great Great Grandchildren: Matthew, Kevin, and Carson Mullen.
Visitation: Thursday from 10-11:15am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Funeral Service: Thursday at 11:30 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. In lieu of flowers: Memorial donations may be made to the Delaware County Center for the Blind, 100 W. 15th Street Chester, PA 19013 or Elwyn Bridgewater OTC at 1 Judy Way, Aston, PA 19014
