Dolores (Barilotti) Durante, age 83, a resident of Aston, died on January 25, 2017 at Naamans Creek Country Manor in Bethel Twp. Dolores was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia where she graduated from J.W. Hallahan Catholic Girl's High School.

Mrs. Durante was employed by Norton Lilly Inc. as a secretary and then worked as a telephone operator before retiring as an office manager with Penn Mutual Insurance Co., in Philadelphia. Dolores was a former parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Philadelphia and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Aston, where she was a Eucharistic Minister.

She was the daughter of the late Attilio and Clara (Aprile) Barilotti.

SURVIVORS: Her husband: Joseph J.Durante; her son: Joseph P. Durante; and her brother: Americo "Butch" Bartilotti.

Visitation: Tuesday from 10:00-11:00am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Funeral Liturgy: Tuesday at 11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's disease association www.alz.org.
