Dolores Ann Flannery, age 91, passed away November 19, 2020 in Hockessin, DE surrounded by the Lord's Love and the presence of her loving family.

Dolores was raised in East Lansdowne, PA and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan. She worked as a telephone operator until 1946 when she married John Flannery. She filled her life with love while caring for her six children and their father. There was never a dull moment in her household. Dolores enjoyed flowers, gardening, playing scrabble, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a devout Christian woman who lived out her faith and devotion to the Lord fully and always with a smile on her face. She attended St. Cyrils Catholic Church and then later, Resurrection Church in Chester.

In her later years, when health challenges arose, she always kept going no matter what. Even when COVID 19 hit, she rose above it all with a smile on her face and her favorite phrase, "It's a beautiful day!"

She was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Anna (Juhasick) Drain, Sr. and sister to the late Harry Drain (Nancy) and Charles Drain (Judy).

SURVIVORS: Children: John Flannery (Marilyn), Michael Flannery (Bev), Mark Flannery (Merrilee), Bill Flannery (Christina), Tim Flannery (Barbara), and Linda Galinski (Terry); Siblings: Mary Bodenstine (Tom), Joanne Oncay (Terry), Larry Drain (Eleanor), and David Drain (Pat); 14 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

VISITATION:  Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 10:00am-10:45 am at St. Joseph Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, PA. Funeral Mass:  Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church. BURIAL:  Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
