Donald Rudd Jones, Sr., a resident of Glen Mills, PA, passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2025. He was born in Danville, VA, and raised in Hershey, PA, where he attended the Milton Hershey School for Boys. Shortly after graduating, he joined the United States Navy and began a lifelong career that spanned more than 30 years. His service took him to many parts of the country and the world. He spent more than 20 years stationed at the Norfolk Naval Base and lived in the Tidewater area for much of his career. After military retirement, he went on to work for Sunoco Inc. (Sun Oil) from November 1989 to March 2005. Donald had a passion for cars and technology. At home, his cats were his constant companions, and he cared for them deeply.

He was the son of the late Chester V. and Theresa E. (nee Clendaniel) Jones.
