Donna Ellen Butler, age 66, passed away on May 27, 2021 at her home in Aston, PA. Donna was born on July 24, 1954 in Secane, PA to the late Mark and Betty von Zech. She graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1972 and committed 573 hours of her time as a Junior Volunteer to Riddle Memorial Hospital during her time in high school. Donna then went on to graduate from Chester County Hospital School of Nursing in 1975. She worked at Delaware County Memorial Hospital as a medical surgical nurse until 1977. From there, Donna spent the remaining 44 years of her career with her new work family at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Donna was a member of St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Essington, PA.

Survivors: her loving sons: Kevin and Joseph (Bonnie) Butler; brothers: Gary von Zech and Mark (Jane McKenna) von Zech III; and two grandchildren: Lucas and Sarah.

Visitation: Monday, June 7, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, 16 W. 3rd Street, Essington, PA 19029. Funeral Service: Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church. Burial: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA. In Lieu of Flowers: Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
