Obituary

Doris Stewart (nee Marriott), age 84, passed away on October 18, 2016 at Sunrise of Wilmington. She was born and raised in Chester where she lived for 31 years. Doris was a proud graduate of Chester High School. She previously resided in Claymont where she lived for 26 years before moving to West Chester in 1989. Doris was employed by the Viscose, BP and DuPont companies before her retirement. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Doris always attended all their sporting events and school activities.  She was a loving wife, grandmother, great grandmother, mother in-law, sister and Aunt.

Doris was the wife of the late William H. Stewart, mother of the late Scott Stewart (August 2016), and daughter of the late Walter and Laura (Zinser) Marriott. Sister of the late Loretta Zinser and William Marriott. Aunt of Billy.

SURVIVORS: Her Loving Daughter: Sandra Travers (Kenneth); Daughter-in-law: Deborah Stewart; Grandchildren: Kristen, Brian, Hunter, Brandon, and Jacob;  Great Grandson: Nolan. Sister Nancy Cubler. Nephews Gerald Frail, John, and Jimmy. Nieces Lolly and Michelle, Donna and Nancy.

VISITATION: Saturday from 9:30-10:45 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. BURIAL: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood. Condolences: ww.nolanfidale.com.
