Dorothy B. Ayers, a longtime resident of Boothwyn , passed away on January 30, 2016. Dorothy was born in Philadelphia and raised in Somerset, PA. She graduated from Juniata College and began a teaching career in Chadds Ford before leaving shortly after to raise her children. She returned to teaching and worked for many years at Linwood Elementary School. Dorothy was a member of the Linwood Heights United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star West Chester Chapter 352.

Dorothy was married for 63 years to the late Guy E. Ayers, Jr.

SURVIVORS: her children: Jolinda A. Grace (Gene) and Guy E. Ayers, III (Cindy).
