Dorothy (Dot) Harsch Wildermuth passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 3, 2015 in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania.
Dorothy was born in Philadelphia to William and Mabel Harsch. She resided in Linwood, Pennsylvania for most of her life. She attended Chester High School, graduating in 1942. She enjoyed working for the YMCA in the 1950s, and later as a caseworker for the State of Pennsylvania until retiring in 1986. She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Delaware County and the Post Polio Support Group of Philadelphia. Her favorite times were spent with family and friends-especially laughing with her grandchildren. Friends and family will remember Dorothy most for her amazing example of love, strength, and perseverance.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel, and five brothers Bill, Leonard, Charles, James and Ralph Harsch.
SURVIVORS: Dorothy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Sheldon (Skip) Wildermuth; her children and their spouses, Sheldon (Don) and Carolyn Wildermuth and Leatrice and Carl Martin; sister, Mabel Owsley; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Monday from 10:00 am to 11:45 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston
FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday 12:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., Aston
BURIAL: Private
