Earl R. "Bob" Miller, 89 of Trainer, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at Riddle Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Born in Chester, Pennsylvania he attended Eddystone High School before honorably serving our nation in the United States Army for three years.
Bob was most recently employed by BP refinery located in Trainer where he worked as a mechanic. He was a talented musician, who favored classic country music, and had an extensive guitar collection. He was hardworking, old school in his approach to life, but those closest to him knew how deeply he cared for them.
He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel G. Miller and Rebecca F. Miller. Additionally, he is preceded in death by one brother: Samuel W. Miller (2017).
Survivors: his beloved wife: Dorothy M. (Lewis) Miller, three children: Barbara (Miller) Shockley, Earl Miller (Christine), and Karen Miller, three grandchildren: Earl Miller, Jr., Aaron Miller, and Brian Fay, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Bob's honor to Mainline Hospice. The family would like to extend their gratitude to them for the excellent care he received.
